EngineerI'm a big fan of pretty much the entire Alien film franchise, which includes, yes, all of the main films including Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, and the Alien vs. Predator film--though Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem was nearly unwatchable for me.

I thought the latest film Prometheus was great. It wasn't perfect, but it was visually appealing, had a cool mix of characters, and did a lot to support and advance the Alien mythology.

A big (literally) part of that is the "Engineer" character. A huge waxy giant with a Giger inspired space suit, that turns out to be the "Space Jockey" from the first film come to life.

And better yet, NECA has made a really solid 8-inch figure of the character, that I was thrilled to add to my collection.

I can't remember ever being dissapointed by something that NECA has put out, and this time is no exception. It's a very simple figure, but it's great looking, and well built. Really nice, and to be honest, I'm more than a little excited to see what else they have coming from this film.
