I found this eleven-inch tall Voltes V toy at the thrift store a few days ago, and for the life of me I can't figure out who made it. At first I'd assumed that it was a bootleg, but it's a nice looking toy for something without any markings at all.

Aside from the fact that Voltes V is missing his "Sky Sword" and probably some other weapon, it was a cool find. If anyone has a clue about where this toy came from, I'd love to know more.

This is not a bootleg Voltes V, this is licensed from Toei Animation by Telesuccess, a Philippine-based Cartoon company. Read here for more info on this, I collect all Voltes V related figures...

Fantastic man, thanks!
Yeah, I had a feeling that it was too nice to be a bootleg. A shame that I couldn't find the accessories.
And I see that it is actually a coin bank also... which explains the slot on his back. ;)
No problem, just ask me anything about the Voltes V toys, be glad to help out.
