Gentleman Ghost is awesome because he represents Mattel's dedication to bringing weird and obscure characters to the fans. That, and because he's somewhat transparent, has no head, and comes packed with a musket.
About the only thing I could ask for, is a hand that actually grips the pistol, but other than that he's great.
Hawkgirl is also a winner. The figure looks good, and better yet, it's built really well--with solid joints and clean paint--which makes this the first reissue set that I've bought where both figures are probably just as good as the original versions.
I can't help but whine about the fact that I had to wait for a reissue to get these figures though. Thanks to the strange and unpredictable release pattern that the DC Universe Classics line is known for, I never came anywhere near the first versions, and it's hard for me to understand why, given that the rest of the wave seemed to peg-warm for a while.
Still though, it is nice to have both Gentleman Ghost and Hawkgirl, and without a doubt it's also nice to have a complete set of classic winged figures at last.
